Purpose

The Ureaplasma Test reagent kit is designed for the qualitative detection of Ureaplasma parvum and Ureaplasma urealyticum DNA and their differentiation using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with real-time fluorescence detection.

Testing for the presence of Ureaplasma parvum and Ureaplasma urealyticum DNA is used to identify the causative agent of ureaplasma infection. PCR test results are used in the comprehensive diagnosis of inflammatory diseases of the urogenital tract. Determining the Ureaplasma species is only possible using molecular genetic methods, in particular PCR, and is necessary for selecting the optimal therapeutic strategy.

The test material is swabs from the human urogenital tract.

The kit is intended for clinical laboratory diagnostics and scientific research. For in vitro studies only.
