Purpose

The "Chlamydia trachomatis" reagent kit is designed for the qualitative detection of Chlamydia trachomatis DNA in human biomaterial samples by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with fluorescent detection of real-time amplification results.

The kit is used to detect DNA of Chlamydia trachomatis, the causative agent of urogenital chlamydial infection. Chlamydia trachomatis is a spherical, obligatory intracellular microorganism of spherical shape that mainly affects the urogenital system.

The material for the study are smears from the human urogenital tract.
