Purpose

The Gonorrhea Test reagent kit is designed for the qualitative detection of Neisseria gonorrhoeae DNA in human biomaterial samples using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with real-time fluorescence detection of amplification results.

Neisseria gonorrhoeae DNA testing is performed to identify the causative agent of gonococcal infection. PCR test results are used in the comprehensive diagnosis of inflammatory diseases of the urogenital tract.

Swabs from the human urogenital tract are used for testing.
