Parasitic diseases currently remain one of the most common pathologies and therefore represent a real medical and social problem. Children are particularly susceptible to parasitic diseases.

This reagent kit is designed to detect the most common protozoan infections in humans (giardiasis, amebiasis, blastocystis, cryptosporidiosis, isosporiasis). These infections share common routes of transmission and can have similar clinical manifestations (gastrointestinal dysfunction, allergic reactions, asthenia, etc.), necessitating simultaneous screening for these pathogens and differential diagnosis, especially in patients with immunodeficiency conditions.

The symptoms of indolent parasitic diseases are nonspecific, which forces most patients to consult non-specialist specialists such as allergists, gastroenterologists, etc., depending on the leading symptoms. Furthermore, these diseases are often asymptomatic.
